Stanley Enow

Stanley Enow aka Bayangi Boy is a Cameroonian Hip-Hop artist, founder and co-owner of the label Motherland Empire.





Biographie


Stanley Enow was born in Bamenda, and is originally from Bayangi in the Southwest Region of Cameroon, giving rise to his nickname "Bayangi Boy". Stanley Enow grew up in Bafoussam, the capital of the West Region, where he completed his primary and his secondary school at the Government Bilingual High School. In 2007, he relocated to Douala, where he graduated in business journalism from the University of Douala.


Stanley Enow started writing rap lyrics and break-dancing while in high school. He released his first song "Hein Père" in June 2013, prompting Trace TV to label him "African music Revelation of the Year.". The "Hein Pere" music video was awarded for Best Video of the Year at the 2013 Balafon Music Awards and the song won several other awards. Stanley Enow kept winning awards in 2013 and 2014 with “Hein Pere” and he released "TumbuBoss" as the second single from his debut studio album, Soldier Like My Papa.


In July 2015, Stanley Enow dropped his maiden album titled 'Soldier Like My Papa.' He later on released the video for one of his songs off the album, titled 'Work hard' which was directed by Max Ngassa. He now works on putting Cameroon on African Hip-Hop map with several collaborations with famous Hip-Hop artists from Africa.
