Cameroon Afro/Tribal-Pop Princess

Kien Renisse known as Reniss was born in Mankon, in the North-West region of Cameroon. She grew up in Douala until she was 12 and went back to Bamenda afterwards to pursue her secondary education. She returned to Douala at the age of 21 where she joined her church choir and perfected her singing. In 2007 she met Jovi and this would be the beginning of a successful collaboration.

It took Reniss more than two years to build her own music style. Her career starts with the single Fire released in February 2012 followed by Holy Water a few months later. She released numbers of singles under the label New Bell Music in the following year and in September 2013 she released her first EP, Afrikan Luv EP. In August 2015, her second EP, Milkish EP was released and was well appreciated.

Singing for Reniss was a dream as a child and today she is making her dreams real, while keeping the humbleness she is known for.
